no it doesnt hurt, and once you use tampons you will not want to go back to pads. Using tampons is like you dont even have your period at all pretty much. its so nice.

Tampons are soooo much better than using pads. It doesn't feel like a diaper when you sit down! They help keep your period more private. Once you get used to them, you won't even be able to tell that they are there! If you're a beginner, it might feel a little bit uncomfortable but it shouldn't hurt. Try to get the smallest tampon at the store, too. If you take them out and they hurt, it was probably because it didn't fill up all of the way.

tampons shouldnt hurt if inserted right try using ob tampons they are very small and easy to use. and to take them out just pull the string it shouldnt hurt as long as you are using the right absorbancy if you are having a light day and use a super yes it will hurt a little cause the tampon wont be wet and wont come out as easy. so if you try tampons buy a multi pack that way for light days you have regular and for heavy days you have super. but seriously i think if you try tampons try ob at least till you get the hang of them then you can try tampax or what ever but me i prefer ob over any other brand i am 25 and has had my period sence i was 13 for the first couple years i used pads cause i just couldnt get the tampon in right and lol it made me mad but then i tried ob and have used them sence.

I don't see what being a virgin has to do with tampons. They don't go that far in. I've been using them since long before I lost my virginity and it was fine. It does NOT hurt. If you feel it at all, it's because you've inserted it wrong. The vagina is a pretty straight forward passage, There are no real curbs in that road to get you lost, so it's hard to miss it. I also recommend OB. They are the best in protection and will expand 360 degrees to prevent leaks, unlike others who expand lengthwise and then you CAN feel them. Begin with regular absorbensy until you can figure out how heavy your period is and what you need.

They do not hurt at all. I was a little hesitant before I started using them, but I'm so glad I did! Theyre so comfortable and muchh better then pads. Taking them out doesn't hurt. If they are not soaked enough it may be a little uncomfortable taking them out but no pain! Just make sure you are relaxed when you put one in :)

If you are a virgin and your hymen hasn't been stretched, it hurts a little the first time. Start small, go with the slender regular. Honestly, it's not that bad, since its going to get broken at your gynie's or during your first time.
As for taking them out, they shouldn't be in for more than 8 hours, but normally they'll feel full, and you know to take them out. It;s as easy as pulling a string, literally.
Best advice I can give is to go slow, because it will sting a bit. Maybe wear them one day, don't the next. =)

No tampons do not hurt at all. After you get it in, its like your not wearing anything. And its not hard to take them out either- just as long as you relax while doing so.

Well to start off with tanpons are less messy. When you put the tanpon in you can feel if your putting it in wrong. If it feels uncomfortable then its in wrong, when you take it out the hurting will stop, and its not like your dying of pain, just uncomfortable. When you put a tanpom in right you can't feel it (swear). It easy to pull out, just pull the string. I like tanpons way more then i like pads.
