It takes a special question to take me out of my "break"...
Yes, I do think that we should forget things before we are too old. As kids and teenagers, we're taught things that aren't necessarily true... Being the people that they (in this case, me included) are, they accept the bit of information even though it may not hold truth.
As we grow older, I believe that many of us are able to shed the lies that we were told and just start as fresh of a page-- or mind-- as we can. We sort of learn how to unlearn... Does that make sense? And it seems that all of the knowledge that we accumulated over the years means nothing when it comes to simple things...
