no if it is a pci card just take out one side of the pc and put it in one of the slots that is under or on top of the modem card

No its very easy. Just open the your computer case up and look for a open PCI slot should be the 2nd slot and below any open one will do. Install the card in the slot and screw the holder bracket down. Then replace cover and start up comptuer and it will ask for the driver disk which came with the card and it should install itself from there on...Thanks

You know the 10 points is enticing, but "hi-speed card thing 2.0" means absolutely nothing.

high speed card thing 2.0???
If this is a USB2.0 PCI card, then no, simple, plug and play
under winxp.
