It depends on alot of things. A mans age, health, any medications they are taking. Even the physical and emotional situation can determine the length of time. I think an average would be 5-10 minutes, seriously

i heard that some go off in less than 1 minute and some last for 15 or 20 minutes

depends on different things..age, virility, health, genetics, etcetera. I have a friend who pops in less then a minute, so he claims. He is frustrated by it.
