Lol, have you guys ever heard Beyonce speak? Ok, so I'll admit she is somewhat attractive and she has a pretty good set of pipes? But, dang! Listen to the girl talk...she sounds sooooo ghetto and uneducated. I saw her on Letterman the other day and it was hilarious listening to that ghetto voice coming out of that pretty face. She always sounds a bit dim a.k.a. dumb...like certain things don't quite register. Man, I just wish she didn't sound like she just stepped out of the hood when she opened her mouth to talk. Anyone else notice this?

I am so tired of beyonce she is not hood at all she grew up in an upper class society in houston and I saw a comercial with her in it a couple of days ago talking about how impotant it is for public high schoolers to have a music program she was in home school for high school how would she know how important it is for public school kids to have music programs she is a liar I grew up in compton im hood

Ghetto and southern accent are two different things, I've heard the way Beyonce talks and it isn't a southern accent, its a little on the ghetto side definitely. Southern accents aren't ghetto sounding like her voice, for example Gone with the Wind, ladylike southern women sound so very articulate. She sounds like she was raised well, has a lower classed southern accent, then mixed ghetto in to suit her audience and new husband. I know I'm gonna get flack for this but most of the people that listen to her are a bit ghetto

I think you have the meaning of ghetto and uneducated mixed up. When people refer to someone being ghetto they usually mean did they grow up in low income housing and talk in Ebonics. Just because you are ghetto that don't mean that you are uneducated. Uneducated meaning that you have not had any formal education. Beyonce is neither uneducated nor ghetto. C'mon she grew up in the suburbs of Houston and she had a chance to have a great education. She can't way that she sounds but I don't think she knows a lot of words or what to say. Lets just say that she is not a good communicator.

She doesn't sound ghetto, but she's not very articulate and that's probably what you're hearing. I've noticed it too, so have a lot of people and that makes her come across as a little bit flighty - especially when she's on a lot of talk shows etc. I have relatives in the south and I don't notice any southern accent. Her parents don't have one either. But when you've got as much fame and money as she does, I guess she can talk any way she wants too. But yea, it's annoying - she's a very pretty lady and you don't expect for her to sound like that.

What?? She has a soft voice when she speaks. Ane she might have a slight southern accent, but she doesn't sound ghetto when she speaks. Not in the interviews I've seen. I'm not a Beyonce fan or anything, and I don't dislike her either, but she never sounds dumb in her interview. Wow maybe I should check out that interview.

No, beyonce is not ghetto at all. She just has a southern accent, other than that her voice is soft and shes' a good speaker..And she is far from dumb..Go find out what ghetto really is.

that is the same thing my husband said, " she's fine and has money and all but sounds very ghetto when she speaks" and i totally agree that she sounds ghetto when she speaks. even though she can sing, it's just when she speaks.

ok we all kno she looks like a goddess ill give her that she can sing her but off ill give her that but ive noticed also that she doesnt seen very bright and i dnt think it has anything to with being ghetto and no shes from the south she just talk a lil country
