Is all you see is that bus full of nuns being hit? Are you all so perfect already that you can be so judgmental? Guess what, I already paid my debt for the offense, which was driving at .095, a few short years ago was leagal in mo. Why so many self-rightous ninnys on a soap box? I live in the woods, I've been without my licencs for two years, my small bussines is faltering as a result. I was not pulled over for swerving or driving iraatically. Am I a long time drunk who finally got caught? NO. I went through a rough two months at which time I got a dui. None before, none since. So many haters, heres another cold fact, I used to race stock cars and dirt bikes. I am an enthusiest, I have skills. At .095 I have no doubt my driving skills are far superior to any law enforcement officer in the union, I accept any challenges. So many haters? I guess it's a result of ignorance, and a mob mentality. Or maybe it's a bunch of sissified conservatives who couldn't find they're A_r_se w/ both hands

I do not do things I think are wrong.
I "let them catch me" because engaging the deputy in a chase is a severe and dangerous situation. Two cars involved in evasive manuevers on public roads is volotile. Yet so captivating, as chase videos prove. I am promoting my own unique situation. Even through intense scientific scrutiny, my imairment was no more "dangerous" than some of you dinb-bats in moring traffic. Thing is, I really don't drink. This issue is 24 months old, but one state sees fit to dip theyr hand in the money pot cause they can. Meanwhile I maintian sr22 insurance on a constuction van I have to pay someone to drive. I think my remodeling prices for conservatives just went up, I mean way up.
For those who have been injured or suffered loss at the hands of drunk driving offenders, it is most unfortunate. I do not promote injury to the innocent. I have to maintain that I am not among their ranks because I have never caused a traffic accident. My dui was a traffic stop.

In my mind it's about the equivalent of driving around with a revolver with one bullet in the gun, give it a spin, aim and fire. If the person is lucky, the chamber is empty, if not, they're out of luck. The same thing with driving under the influence. Sorry to hear you think your rough two months was a good excuse to endanger others. It has nothing to do with hatred, I don't even know you let alone hate you. It has everything to do with being responsible for your own actions.

Meanwhile, one of my best friends lives her life with almost no short term memory, she can never book a flight because the trauma to her brain was so severe that flying is not allowed. Nor is she able to drive a car. She must have an assistance dog because her balance was impaired. All because someone who was deluded enough to think that just because they were an experienced driver that could outweigh the impairment of alcohol in their system.

Don't ask me to sympathise with you. You knowingly and willingly got into a motor vehicle impaired. You then proceeded to operate it on MY roadways and put the lives of innocent people in peril. Too bad your license was only taken for two years. If only it could have been taken away from you for life.

Maybe because driving drunk kills people and destroys lives?
There is absolutely no excuse for driving drunk. Ever. There is no justification for it no matter how hard you try.

I have no sympathy for you at all. Its a shame your license was only taken away for two years. If I were the judge, you would never have gotten it back.

I've been three times by drunk drivers. Once head on, once on motorcycle when stopped at red light. Once by a professional driver driving and 18 wheeler. That one put me in the hospital for a year.
I'll put this in writing for you. If I am ever on a jury and it is a drunk driver I am voting to lock him or her up and throw away the key.

Nice try - but I'm afraid there are no valid excuses for DWI - none, period.

If you need an explanation as to why people are so judgmental concerning people who CHOOSE to drive while impaired - you would not understand it.

I know what you are talking about...

People think that you got a DUI...you are the devil...

But those same people that are downing you because of a DUI have done far worse than that...

Judge not lest ye be judge!
