i have the shiny-liscious one but i dunno if i wanna use it cuz i dont wanna ruin my lips ><

There is nothing in the lipgloss that can hurt your lips. It basically amounts to vaseline which is actually good for your lips because it helps to lock in moisture. The one thing you have to remember about lipgloss though is not to lick your lips; then you end up eating the lipgloss and while it won't make you sick eating lots of it isn't healthy either.

I don't know specifically about maybelline (I use MAC), but I'm quite sure it won't ruin your lips. I don't think it would have passed inspection if it did! If you're really worried about trying it, put a little bit of vaseline, or other moisturizer on your lips before you put it on. The worst it could do is dry out your lips! (which is easily fixable)

It shouldn't damage your lips. Cheap brands like Maybelline can be sticky but why would it damage them?

Dior makes better lip glosses so if you're worried about cheap brands, try one of theirs.
