you are obligated to pay child support until they reach 18 yrs of age, regardless of everybody remarrying. What's the difference anyway, if you are together then it's not like you don't know where the money is going.

well, up until the child is 18 years of age legally do u have continue paying child support. but regardless u still have 2 offer care and support 2 ur child despite who has remarried.

If you remarried the mother of your child then you both need to contact the child support offices and have the case canceled.

you will be responsible for child support until the kids are 18 even if you remarry. The only other thing you could do is to give your kids up for adoption to the other man but you then lose all rights to your children.

You only get to stop paying *alimony* if the spouse remarries. Not the child support.

Go to the child support recovery in your area and show them your marriage license proving you have remarried. They can fix that for you or know what to do.

Michigan law allows stopping the child support as long as the marriage certificate is shown. The only thing not stopped is the confinement (cost of the birth of the child) if you have that on your case. Check with your state to see if you can get it stopped.

If these are your children, then morally, yes you should still be paying child support. You brought them into this world, they're your responsibility!
