Schumacher.
Any idiot who has to have his driver act as his No2 has no class.
Senna and Prost never did that.

There are only 22 F1 drivers in the world (and a handful of testers). They are all special and have loads of talent. Over-rating is something that the rest of the world does (fans, journalists, media, couch experts). Is it the driver's fault that he's over-rated? We are the ones who over-rated him! Ofcourse, many of the drivers have a very high opinion of themselves, but that's their nature. They just do what they do and being an arrogant, socially maladjusted prick is actually considered by many a desirable feature of a successful F1 driver.
Having said that, I do agree there are drivers who are getting more credit than they perhaps deserve. And as Gregnir mentioned, Ralf Schumacher is getting paid more than the results he has given his team. I too think that Button is over-rated. Nico Rosberg (despite his brilliant first couple of races) drove like Takuma Sato most of the season. I expected a little more from Tonio Liuzzi. And Mark Webber...I'm starting to have doubts about him.
Schumi is not over-rated. He is a dead set legend.

Possibly Jenson Button. Although he scored 25 points in the final seven races of the 2006 schedule, his season total of 56 was only good enough for sixth place in the drivers' standings.
True, he won the Hungarian GP, but I think that was a bit of an anomaly because of the weather conditions and he only led 25 laps all season.
I think Ralf Schumacher is also overrated; certainly he's overpaid.
Anyone who says his brother Micheal, is overrated, obviously knows little or nothing about racing and probably hasn't been any closer to a race than the TV in their living room.
I'm neither a Michael Schumacher fan or apologist and, while his on-track behaviour wasn't always kosher, only a fool would suggest that he's overrated.

I am a bit sad to say this, but I'd have to say Fisichella. i mean, for two seasons in a row now he had the championship-winning car, and he never got to grips with good results. Only 2 wins in 2005+2006 compared to Alonso's 14, podiums... quite a rarity, mostly hanging around in lower scoring positions unless he made a silly mistake that dropped him out of the race.
He might have felt overshadowed by Alonso. I think that 2007 is his last chance to prove his worth and change half the world's opinion about him.

He may have won the title two years in a row, but have you ever seen him have a stroke of bad luck (or for that matter, any bad luck at all)?
He has hardly ever set fastest laps and cannot drive in wets.
Fernando Alonso is over-rated.
