Try something that involves the history of the atomic bomb: "From Manhattan to Japan" (a reference to the 'Manhattan Project, developing the bomb) or maybe, "I am Become Death" (a reference to a line from the Bhagavad Gita spoken by J. Oppenheimer after seeing the first atomic bomb test in Los Alamos, NM) or something like, "Tora! Tora! Tora! Truman's Response" (a reference to the Japanese code word given by the pilots who bombed Pearl Harbor). Good Luck!

Well, Hiroshima and Nagasaki completely changed Japanese culture when it happened and made the country's attention way more focused on becoming socially westernized that it ever had before.

so maybe you should call it:

Bombed into the future?

"No Other Choice?"
"The Hardest Decision"
"The Cost of Peace"
"Shattered Morning Calm"
"Vapor and Ash"
...tailor any of these to suit; I haven't read your paper so I don't know the underlying theme or your conclusions about the whole thing. Good luck.
