Is this option going to bring about Impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney.
What is Bush actuallt thinking, Iraq has proven to be a lost cause.
Should the NeoCons like Richard Perle be charged also as he was behind getting the Bush Administration into Iraq, all part of the plan of the PNAC.

Get this, Richard Perle now says he was against the war, just another snake crawling under his rock. I have a news flash for everyone; THE UNITED STATES ALREADY LOST THE WAR IN IRAQ!! Also, The War In Vietnam. Those who refuse to understand history are doomed to repeat it! As we sit by our keyboards in our warm comfortable houses, an American soldier is dying! Not for oil anymore, not for WMD's, not for the overthrow of a dictator, not for the free world, they're dying because our government is incompetent.

As the generals over there now and the last great Secretary of State Colin Powell said tonite there is no way to send more troops we do not have unless you would like a draft reinstated and we are losing over there more troops would not help at all so that unfortunately is not the answer, so no troops should be sent instead we should lay out a plan explained to the Iraq people that we do not care what sort of government that you decide upon long as it is your decision we shall support it and get out before we lose more innocent lives and have to retreat anyway

I want 150k more troops.

I am going to paste an answer to a similar question as I do not want to type it all over again.

To me it is like this:
I never agreed with occupying Iraq but once we did, I kept saying, just like most Generals kept telling Rumsfeld, that we didn't have enough troops... that the lack of adequate troops was going to result in complete chaos.

My pt has come true.

BUT, here we are.... we have made a mess of Iraq. And all of a sudden all those pro-war ppl when they thought it would be easy are saying to get out.

Ok where is the courage now? It seems to me we were all gun-ho when we didn't think it would cost American lives. Yet, once it started to take American lives, we won't out.

My solution is 150k more troops and to divide Iraq into 3 states. Yes 150k. Whenever I say that ppl say that is just more targets. Well, too bad... that is war... that is what 75% of this country was gun-ho to do in 2003. Where is all that courage now?

If you are going to do something then do it right; but, if you do something and mess it up, then you TAKE your losses and do the honorable thing and fix what you broke.

Why did Harry Reid say OK to send more troops? You going to charge him to? I thought Democrats ran on getting the US out of Iraq? Looks like they lied to get elected! I am for finishing getting their government set up. I was pro war and I still believe the President is right! DEFEAT is not an option.

If the generals want 50000, we should give them 50000. We should not want to lose the War in Iraq, for it is not a lost cause. The media emphasizes on the death rather than the democracy. The media rallies up the emotions not just because they are biased, but because it makes a good story.

sure if that's what it takes to kick the shyt out of terrorists and free Iraq for the good people who live there. Defending the free world is not an impeachable offence at least not the last time I looked.

.Most Americans will oppose it but Dumbya will go ahead and do it anyway and waste some more young lives. Then there are Dumbya's dead enders that will just gush about what a great leader he is.

I would be in favor of it only if the troops were recruited from Christian Bible colleges with a right-wing bent.

I think it should be 100,000 troops and let's have them disarm the entire country and lock up the insurgency.
