Because TV networks are a bunch of losers who only filter advertisements that contain too much sex, violence, or other controversial statements. They don't filter out the junk unfortunately, since they are a slave to the almighty dollar. Gotta pay those bills and keep the lights on!

sponsors advertise their products on tv which pays the programmers bills and salaries. without advertising you would only have cable and satellite television.
