Is the key to happiness love, spirituality, family, wealth, fame, selflessness, victory, humility,etc...????? I know everyone has a different idea of what has, or might make them happy but, have you really ever thought long and hard as to its' real meaning???? Is it your soulful belief or is it something we have been programed to believe...that will make us happy???
****I would love your ideas and thought as well at my 360 space -sometime....Best to all.......Peace

The greatest key to happiness is the key to the liquor cabinet. Honestly, I feel the key to happiness in life is to love oneself. This allows us to live a transparent life - not hiding anything. Then we are free to enjoy everything and everyone...true happiness. I believe the pursuit of happiness comes from the soul planted there by our creator.

There is no "key " to happiness that is just a simile.
It is an expression created by the "smoke screens" of
wealth as weath was then before the quote was quoted.
As all simile's are in some way sarcasm a 'key" represents
a material object and then in our modern minds we relate
to sayings land think of things we know or are familiar with some may be in more simile like "golden key".Yet in all essence there really is no such simile ,in fact either for that matter.although
technically there can be a golden key.or a key that is golden.
Otherwise if I did guess it would have to do with security.
And I might imagine the key as something very personal
or private.

The greatest key to happiness lies within you. What do you like best? What pleases you? It has something to do with what you can identify as being “lovely and special.” Happy thoughts often come to mind by the smell, by something we see, by reading or listen to something. For some, family is the key to happiness; for others family brings back painful memories. So seek within your heart – what causes you to smile more? Is it praising and worshipping God? Is it a trip to some exotic place? Is it a moment with your soul mate? What do we want in life? Success, happiness, beautiful things in life or to be loved by someone unconditionally? Remember – it’s not that hard to make money – but it’s much harder to find that special someone in your life who sticks with you through good and bad times.

Love. Spiritual, familial, friendly, romantic, even love for strangers. You can't be happy without some sort of love.

A positive attitude. It can get you through tough times and help you see possibilities. When you're not negative, you notice opportunities around you. Overall, I think this is the key to the happiest life possible.
