I had a friend over to stay the night, it was around 2:00am. The lights in the hall went out. We heard footsteps coming up the stairs, then they tirned and came up the hall just as it came to my door the lights in my room went off, there was only some moon light coming in. The steps, with no one there, went across my room. The lid to my music box went up and it played till it completely wand down. The lid lower the foot steps went out, my lights came back on. They went down the hall and back down the steps the lights came back on.

I don't know if it's a ghost, but sometimes small objects will vanish for a day or two. A couple of weeks ago a set of car keys disappeared along with the remote. We turned the house upside down looking. (those smart keys are expensive) We gave up looking and were going to get a new key made. Before we went for a new one the old ones were found right where we left them.

haunted dorm room. Edinboro University of PA, Henderson Hall. My roommate and I lucked into the largest room on the floor. However, our LOCKED door would mysterioulsy open for no reason on several occasions, always at night. Where our room was located, it was impossible for us not to hear someone unlocking the door and then running, becuase we were right near the heavy metal doors that clanged everytime they were opened or closed. we were also situated on the alcove, so our window was right next to the exit door. we never saw a soul, and there was never anyone on the other side. Every morning at 5:00, we heard the clanking sound. it sounded like someone dropping an aresol can over and over again.

my roommates friend that claimed to have a connection with spirtis stopped dead in a conversation one night, leaped up from the floor and over another friend to run to the door just as it was opening. He said it was a girl, this was her room, and she didn't know she was dead.

Thing is, after he did that, our door never opened on its own again.

While in the Navy, I woke up in the middle of the night and rolled over to see an apparition in full dress uniform standing in front of my closet. In a panic, I pulled the covers over my head and told myself there was nothing there. I pushed them off and looked again, expecting that either I was imagining things or it had disappeared already, but it was still there, staring at me. I pulled the covers over my head again and waited for a slow count of ten before I peeked out again. It was gone.
A year later, a black shadow jumped over the foot of my bed and landed on me with a phycial force I couldn't have imagined.

my son has. he's seven months old now. when he was two months old he and i were laying on our couch watching tv. he turned slightly because something caught his eye. and me, being worried thought something bad was there, but he kept looking in the same direction and started laughing. we took pictures of the area and all over our apartment for orbs. and sure enough there were some there. not just the plain white ones, either. these were bright blues and greens.
