More then likely because you stick out like a soar thumb and you are feeling real insecure in our little town....
Do not have to look away I am sure you have your good qualities that you can share with others....do not be so down on yourself. Practice at looking straight ahead and do not do that looking down or away at people, this is a sign of insecurity and no self worth. Social shyness....

Because that's what people do now.... they look away.
Gone are the days that you knew everyone in your street by their first name and as you passed each other you would say hello and wish them well...now people don't know, don't care and some are to frightened to even try..... god i sound like my gran.... help......

We don't know eacth other. And how many of us actually look at people? Thats kind of weird. Like I said you wouldn't take a double take, especially at me. You wouldn't stare me down and make me uncomfortable?
