If I'm not mistaken, that guitar is being sold at Target or some other big retailer. DO NOT BUY IT!

I have had several of them come into my shop for repairs after just a few weeks and the cost of repair exceeded their original price or they weren't repairable at all... Lyon WAS Washburns entry level stuff, but now it is just their super cheap discount line.

That is the problem with buying by name alone. Instead, put aside 50 cents a day for 1 year, and you can get an excellent entry level guitar.

For that price, yes if it's in good shape and still solid. I just refurbed one for a friend and put new Martin SP all Brouze lights (.010) on it and it sound great for a $40 guitar just to learn with or bang around on.

Solos don't have to be complex to be amazing. Look at Eric Clapton. Wonderful Tonight was huge, and that has to be the easiest solo ever written, Layla isn't much tougher. And besides, the Ramones innovated a style that was theres. Guitarists need to play what they like man, you're no different

as long as the guitar is in good shape this is a good deal. by good shape i mean as long as it isn't cracked or damaged this is a really good deal. it sounds like its a beginner guitar. and washburn makes good products. this is a good deal. if you can get pictures of the guitar or see it before you buy it then you should. if it isn't damaged this is a great deal.
