My husband bought a neon light in the shape of a Playboy bunny. I think it's stupid. He thinks it's cool and he wants to know why it's stupid. Can you give a good answer to give him?

To you, it’s stupid because you think the neon light belongs in a bar or hotel or some place cheesy. To him, when we call something stupid – it’s either we have a bit of jealousy in our bones or we dislike the taste; therefore, it is stupid.
My advice to you is simply telling him that you don’t like it. Maybe he pays attention to your feeling more than what you’re “labeling” stuff he bought as being stupid.

Haha this reminds me of the Christmas Story with that stupid leg lamp. You could always take the same route as the mother in that movie :-)
I would just tell him that he's out of high school and married... Those two circumstances make it just not cool

Well why don't you offer him a compromise? You could tell him its not appropriate for the living room, that you aren't comfortable with it and suggest he put it in the garage or somewhere that he can enjoy it without embarrassing you. Sounds fair, hope this helps.

Much depends on your life style. If you are a porno star then it's OK to display that beauty but if you are a banker or church secretary then it may be considered stupid. I agree with you on this one though.

umm..its ugly. i mean not all neon light things are ugly, some are cute and kitchy, but playboy items are cheap and trashy looking.

neon lites r for store signs. i think that christmas lites r classic and sweet...so stick w. those 4 xmas
