I have not forgotten. It showed me just how short life really is and can be taken away so fast. I now try to not sweat the small stuff and i tell the people i care about just how much i do love them. It could be my last chance to let them know.

I don't think the world walks around like nothing happened and I don't think we live in hell. Efforts for the victims of 911 are still being helped by the efforts of the people of the U.S. What about the citizens of the US that donated $2 billion dollars to the Sunami fund and that was not counting the $9 million the government sent. This happens all the time when there is a tragedy. The citizens of the US help more people in the world than any other country. I personally sponsor a drive whereby I collect monetary donations each year and purchase, wrap and deliver clothes and toys to needy children at Christmas. I have done this for 14 years. What have you done besides spell forgotten incorrectly?

Anyone who was alive and aware of the outside world when it happened will never forget 9-11. However, we cannot live in constant fear that something like that will happen again and have it rule our lives; life goes on. Much like it did after Dec. 7, 1942, when Pearl Harbor was bombed. Or on November 22, 1963, when President Kennedy was assassinated.

Not for a minute.
Some people like to pretend it never happened, or that the government is to blame so we have nothing else to fear.
Not for a minute.
Living life like it can be taken away any day by a psycho with an unbelievably selfish agenda. Try to remember & rejoice in the little things more than before.

I was a director for project liberty, a new york city, fema granted program, for crisis counseling of family, friends and survivors of 911 victims. we have not forgotten 911 as a nation, and certainly not as new yorkers, but i think people have put the event inside of themselves now, instead of letting it remain on the outside. this is a good thing because we are moving forward as a nation and as a city. believe me, we have not forgotten and i doubt we ever will--those of us who have lived the horrible sights, sounds. smells, and personal losses.

Are you serious? Everywhere I turn, I still hear about it. The world has changed completely since it happened, for the worse. The government is using it as an excuse to take away our rights.
