Check with one of your local banks or brokerage services about setting up a personal IRA with the money. There should be not tax implications for transferring it into a new account. Wachovia Securities is one company with which I have had personal experience. I pay an annual fee of $50 and have a financial advisor who helped me setup my account as well as provided subsequent advice on moving money around into different accounts in order to make the most.
