Ok well it says

free space: 24.4 GB
TOTAL SIZE:70.9 GB

is that enough space or alot is gone away?

thats not alot of freespace but ur still ok ... wen it dips below 10 i would worry about it ... if u have xp and a few basic programs ur at about 7 gigs used .... so the rest is ur junk :)

It's that's not much space if you download movies and such or music. One option is to get an external hard drive that would plug into a usb port but those can cost alot depending on the size you want to get, and saving all your stuff to that.

A way to get SOME space back, if you don't want to spend any money is by deleting programs and files or Pictures that you don't use any more like games and such.

Another way is going to Start > All Programs > Accessories >System Tools > Disk Cleanup

24 GB of free space should be plenty for most users. Start worrying about space when you have less than 8 or 10 GB left.

You can get space back by deleting programs that you don't use that often. Also, perform disk cleanup and disk defragments once a month.
