Rearrange to make y the subject

e.g.

3x = 6y + 4
So 6y = 3x - 4
so y = (3x - 4)/6

Note: In the second one I recommend dividing through by common factors first.

1. 3x=6y+4 subtract 4 from each side
3x-4=6y divide by y
y=x/2-2/3

2.4x=4+2y subtract 4 from each side
4x-4=2y divide by 2
y=2x-2

3.4x+5y=6 subtract 4x from each side
5y=-4x+6 dicide by 5
y=-4x/5+6/5

2.) 4x=4+2y
4x-4=2y
(4x-4)/2=y
3.) 4x+5y=6
5y=6-4x
y=(6-4x)/5`
