Probably you thought that you would reach here and you would be the only white. You thought that all Latin Americans belong to a single race and that all the are dark-skinned. Then you come here and you realise that Latin America is multi-racial and that there are lots of whites in Latin America. How did you feel?
Did you feel: "Oh, I'm so stupid"
Or: "Oh, I'm so ignorant, people in my country are so ignorant!"?
How did you feel?

You are a silly person.

I've been to Peru, Brazil and Argentina... Yes, of course there are white people. Who said otherwise? There are whites of European heritage, blacks of African descent, native people, Asian immigrants...

Well we wouldn't be as ignorant as you. For example we all know that countries in Latin America are made up of different race etc. Even I as a European know that. One example is Argentina. It is made up of many nationalities. Italians, Spanish, Jews, Germans even Irish. Can't believe that someone who even ask this question in the first place.
