slip on flats are cute, they come in sneaker style. Converse are NOT just skater, just depend on how you wear them, a preppy way is to keep them really clean and buy a good bright color, maybe light pink, yellow, white... Keds, and rocket dogs are also good. Hope this helped!

There are new converse laceless shoes that have a cute pattern on them as well as some Vans that just look awesome. Sketchers are always the collegiate look though and they have some fun styles as well.

I'm not preppy exactly, but I have friends who are and they agree with me that these shoes are adorable (and preppy.) Browse around the Ked's website for a while, and converse are good too (but not quite as cute in my opinion.)
