Eli is the worst quarterback to have ever played professional football. He can't throw to his own team, he cant take a hit. He is attrocious and should not be in pro football.

First off I am a giants fan. Second, to the last guy that answered the question yes, i played football, and I was a center. SO once again. Eli is the worst QB EVER.

hopefully soon. Eli is so bad it is sickening. I can't believe they paid him almost 10 million last year. He should go back to play in high school, they are more his level of play. the only reason he is even in the pros is because of his brother and father. Try and name a starting QB that has ever played worse?

Once He Gets Rid Of The Manning At The End Of His Name. As Long As He's Peyton's Brother And Archie's Son, He's Always Gonna Be Seen As A QB Wit Potential And Jus Needin Some Experience.

Well if he ever became the worst ever I would imagine they would recognize it. Eli is still young and he does struggle but all young QB's do. Thats why in the glory days of football a QB didnt play right away he sat the bench and developed for awhile. He came into the league and right away people expected him to be Archie and Peyton and thats just not realistic, Im a redskins fan and even I can see you need to give the poor guy a break.

I agree 100%. If his name wasn't Manning he would have never got taken as high as he did in the draft and he certainly wouldn't have been allowed to call all of the shots on draft day. He is just like his brother, overrated but unfortunately the way the NFL is.. someone will always make room on a team for a Manning. Its almost as if it is written in the rulebook. No matter how sorry this idiot Manning plays you must continue to sign him and let him start. If Eli or Peyton were a quarterback on my team I might disown them because we would probably never make the Superbowl again until these clowns retired.

Who else are we gonna put in? Lorenzen? Hasselbeck? We're kind of royally screwed three times around and we're in a potential wild card spot.
It doesn't help that Coughlin makes all of these crap calls, and today I can't blame today's loss on Plax not catching balls.
I don't think that Eli is the worst quarterback ever. I think Eli has a long way to go. Look at Troy Aikman. 0-15 his first season. Yes, I know this isn't Eli's, but just because you start rough doesn't mean it always has to be that way. The Giants've been through a lot this season. The last thing we need to do is start pinning every single loss on our quarterback. There's a lot of other factors to consider too.

well, the giants traded for eli mostly because of his name. I mean he's the son of archie manning and the brother of peyton manning, two amazing Qb's. Honestly because i am a giants fan, i believe that we need to keep eli, he'll eventually develop witht the right coaching. And he will be needed more next season when the running game is shortened due to the absence of tiki barber

he's just the most inconsistent qb there is. i mean, you got the three rookie qb's playing more consistent and better than him. but his brother is a hall of famer to be, his dad was a pro bowler, and as long as he's a manning, everyone will always think of him as the next big thing. he's born into the royal family of football and that ain't gonna change. maybe he should change his name to Eli Jones.

A couple of weeks ago Manning was in the spotlight. He pulls his team together yada yada yada...What happen to all of the talk that said he is just young, needs to play more games, he will settle down. I think the commentators were talking about Philedelphias Garcia saying he wasn't any good he was to old to be a quarterback...too young too old too experienced to inexperienced...You tell me?
