Some movie files from the internet requires a specific file or codecs to play it on your pc. you may want to check also the properties of your files, may be its MP4, WMA or etc. try to check it out first. most common files to download for player are from DIVX or try realplayer. Hope that helps Ü

this will happen if the program you are using wasn't installed right. all you have to do is go to the site where you can download the same version of the software and once you have installed the new software the movie should play. Some of the older DVD wont play right on new computers so if the movie is old and sitll doesnt work after you do this all you can do is try another program to try to watch your movie with.

Understand that when a computer overheats, it forces the cooling fans inside it work much harder in order to dissipate the heat. Overheating has the capability of damaging and even melting important components such as the CPU. Make sure, they can absorb fresh cool air. 2) Make sure passive coolers are dust free. 3) Make sure the inside and outside of your entire computer case is dust free. 4) Clear dust off any inside computer components. 5) Make sure the room the computer is in, is well ventilated. Open up the room windows and open the door of the room. 6) Do not use your computer on a scorching hot day. Make sure you have an Air Conditioner. Also, use a standard house fan to keep the room cool. I highly recommend you to take your computer to any trustworthy electronics store, so they can help clean and install components to help deal with the overheating issue. Do not attempt to fix the computer by yourself if you have no knowledge of fixing computers, or you will damage your computer.

you can try downloading and installing the free divx codec from divx.com. it has a free player too. it works good for me. some of the anime that i've downloaded before used other special codecs. just look at your file extension, if its not mpeg or mov or avi or wmv, it probably needs a special codec or player. also you might try updating your video card drivers, i had that problem b4 too

you need a plugin for the type of file you are trying to play for the software you are using to play it.(i.e. windows media,reel player,etc)hope this helps.
