I've seen the fight over and over again on tv and on the internet, and I see no reason he should've punched that guy (actually it wasn't even a punch really it was more like a slap). He wasn't even the guy that was fouled, JR Smith was, and if you're gonna punch a guy and start a fight then you should finish it--after Carmelo punched that guy in the Knicks he started walking backwards like a little girl, wow...

Because he's a bi+ch.

Only cowards hit and run.

"after Carmelo punched that guy in the Knicks he started walking backwards like a little girl"

No, he RAN back like a bitc*.

Why did he do it? Because he thinks he's tough and bad and that no one can touch him. You wanna know the reality? He hit's like a girl and he deserves NO respect from anyone especially the NBA community. This fool deserves to be suspended for the rest of the season without pay.

Melo is no girl he punch was harder than you think Collins was down from a easy punch.. Knicks don't know how to punch so they tried to run Melo over.. Melo ran to saved his pride and respect also

Why would he punch JR Smith? He's on his team. He hit Mordy Collins, the foul committer. They must have been talking to eachother and then Jeffries went after 'Melo. They all have no idea how stupid they looked.

It was him who started it all. The foul was totally unnecessary. I wish Nate Robinson was punched too. The Knicks are a bunch of LOSERS!

first of all, carmelo's a sissy boy who needs his momma. he did it to stand up for J.R. Smith cuz that guy on the knicks was the guy who fouled J.R. Smith. but you can't do that if you "punch" them and then run away like a pus. Melo is a fag who sucks.

Because Melo is all that and that other guy isn't. Plus they were arguing, and Melo is the MVP of the league, so MVPs can do whatever they want.
