My husband really wants the xbox 360 and I do too. .. Don't reccomend me another system because he wants the Halo 3 which will only be for Xbox..
I'm afraid because of all these "horror stories" and even after 1 year they don't get any better. I am currently going through this with a computer from Circuit City and have been waiting 4 months to get a computer fixed and do NOT want to go through this with a 360 !! Where would be the best place to buy it from that includes a protection plan?? Should I not even bother? Do YOU have a horror story? HELP!

I actually have the Xbox 360 professional (between the white consoles) and that i have been given pink ring i imagine in effortless words once, (if no longer two times.) it truly is totally uncommon. and that i have had the Xbox 360 because the day it got here out. the newest Xbox 360s' are incapable of having it in spite of the undeniable fact that. (Xbox 360 slender) desire this helped.

I would not buy an xbox 360. I had the "freezing problem" on mine. Which didnt occur until 10 months after i bought the system. Microsoft said that my warranty (3 months) was up and would charge 140 dollars (usd) to fix the 360. I refused and they said that they guaranteed that my 360 would never have this problem again. Why should i spend another 140 dollars on my xbox that i spent 400 on so that it doesnt freeze? They shouldnt when people buy them not after they put another 140 dollars into them. But if you are going to get it anyway. GO to best buy and get their replacement plan...there are no questions asked.

Well a good place to buy an x box 360 would be, target or even at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/?WT.svl=nav these would be the only places i would buy at. But other than that I am mostly a PC person. Its stupid microsoft makes certain games for certain consoles. I think its stupid blowing money in the wind. But I want an xbox 360 just because Halo 3 will be playable for that console.

Well the only advise I could give you are these two things...
1. Buy it new, not used
2. if you geek on the system, buy a fan and make sure you not put it on a carpet floor.

Any system can goes haywire and die at any time, but it you treat it like your baby (don't go leaving it on for days on end) it will last you

Just buy the console and buy a protection plan so if it brakes down, you can get it replaced.
