So many conservatives use fertility clinics that there's no mention of banning or regulating their practice of producing hundreds of thousands of fertilized embryos that are later discarded.

NEOCON .......... would you feel the same way on stem cell research if you have an incurable disease ....... Alzheimer's ....... Parkinson's ........ or if you are paralyzed after a fall?
it seems strange that all these objections to stem cell research are by abled bodied people ........ why don't all these people go get Alzheimer's or Parkinson's and come back here and tell us how they want stem cell research banned?

DO YOU WANT TO BE LEFT BEHIND? or should you want THAT MORON to waged a war on a country that support cloning ........ EVERYTIME medical sciences make a breakthrough .......there's always strong religious objections from the extreme right ........ wasn't there ethical controversy too? ....... when the first operation was done ..... when the first transplant was carried out ........ thankfully there are more sensible, practical and wise people than there are neocon ....... otherwise we had still be in the dark ages

Well, I am one liberal who does not support cloning. I am heterosexual and am fully capable of having children. I have chosen not to due to genetic concerns.

It would not surprise me. But pregnancy leaves the woman's body less than perfect, so they are only for cloning if they do not have to have the child. They also need to have enough money to pay a nanny. Then again, many liberals have their cats to take the place of children.
What a tough issue.

Or, was this like a DRUG joke, because we are too stoned to make babies?
Either way, I HELLBENT thought it was funny and I support cloning of only good looking people like myself. Ugly people should not be cloned no matter their political affiliation.

I don't support human cloning, I don't support abortion, I do have three kids, and I thank the Lord daily that they have not turned out like you or someone like you.
