You know better than that. It's a Constitutional Republic.
It was founded as a confederacy under the "Articles of Confederation" in 1776, restructured into a Constitutional Republic under the "Constitution for the united States of America" in 1778, converted by Lincoln (by his issuance of the first "executive order") into a dictatorship, became a corporation following Lincoln's war of aggression and is currently called a democracy because most people have been "re-venued" by the "Internal Re-Venue Service" into a federal enclave, district or zone as 14th amendment citizens and are federal citizens of Washington D.C. which is a democracy.
The Constitutional Republic still exists, but very few inhabit it.
I have God-given Constitutional Rights. Most people reading this have 14th amendment privileges and immunities, but as US citizens have lost their Constitutional Rights.
