Well, well , well...... John Kerry is a poster boy for the left, according to the right. Not MY poster boy. To me, he smells like another corporate big wig, regardless of what he says.
As far as negotiating, negotiating what? He has no official negotiating job description, except as a ketchup salesman. So he is talking. So what?
I don't get all this traitor talk about politicians talking with other world leaders. Without agreements between the USSR & USA, avowed mutual enemies, all of Europe would have been under Hitlers thumb after WW II. If half the German troops hadn't been deployed in Russia, the US would have failed at Normandy. Without the front in Western Europe, Russia would have been completely destroyed. Most of the enemy in the current war were former "allies". bin Laden is the first to come to mind.
And the entire argument is hypocrisy anyway. If the govt were in Democratic hands, those committing treason by conducting "fact finding missions" would be from the GOP. The neocons would be referring tio them as HEROES & they know it..

Some negotiation in the middle east is inevitable. Many generals and military experts have said the war in Iraq is not winnable by military means alone; that a political solution will be necessary. That means diplomacy, negotiation, talking to enemies....
