I was just wonder one day.... Cuz I think that sponge bob is the most POPULAR cartoon ever. Do you know, or have ever met anyone that does not know about SpongeBob?

Yeah I think that there are a few. My grandparents don't know who he is. My cousins and I were all teenagers when the show started so they never really got exposed to him. I mentioned him one day and you thought I was talking about an underground secret.

Answer: I think everyone in America and probably the UK knows Sponge Bob Squarepants. I have never met anyone who doesn't know about Sponge Bob. I even like to watch it. It can be for adults and children.
Course, I like the Rugrats too. I used to come home from work and turn on Nick to see those shows.

I think Mickey Mouse has that distinction. Sponge Bob is having his 15 minutes of fame, but I don't believe he will live among the cartoon immortals.
