How do you format a cell so that the cell on one end has the dollar sign and on the other end is the number.

Go to the "Format" menu, and click "Cell", on the "Number" tab, press "Accounting". On my version, that gives your desired results.

Go to format, cells, and choose the currency option.

Just highlight the cells you want this in, and hit the dollar sign on the toolbar.

go to format cells, number, currency. that will give $3.33 if u want
the $ left justifirf format cells, number, accounting and you will get
$ 3.33.
