i dont think they can win them this year
but maybe they could win in 2009/2010
when some of the Aussies have retired and England has a few fresh and good players

England is at this stage batting on 305 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. However, target is far off and England can win this test only if miracle happens. Australia are all set to wrapup the series and regain the Ashes, which they lost to England in 2005.

No England cant win the ashes because sadly we are not as good as the Australians and some of our key players are performing below what they are capable of. Flintoff not batting at all well. Jones's batting is getting worse by the day. Although we have had good performances from some of our top order they do it as individuals and are not consistant enough. I get the feeling they dont handle the pressure at all well as evidenced in the second innings in Adelaide.

The Australian bowlers man for man are superior to our bowlers. Unless the the weather does us a big favour I can see us losing the series 5-0.

if they should win tonite cannot see them winning the next two tests . but they areperhaps only 50% the side of the aussies so dont hold your breath i personally think they will be whitewashed 5 - 0
