Ok. I was summoned to jury duty., Here it is a two week service and you have to report EVERY day. I asked work what i need, and they said the orginal summons was it., Well now they wany a work excuse. Well here is the thing. There was one day we didnt have to go, and i didnt go to work., NOW WHAT? Any suggestions?

Explain the situation to your boss and the court people. I'm sure at least one side will understand; either is preferable because if your boss doesn't understand but the court does, they'll give you a note, and if the court doesn't but your boss does, you won't have to worry about the court giving you a note.

all they asked for at work was the orginal summons you gave it to them. they did not ask if you were in the court room everyday. so you did not lie and you did what you were suppose to do. enjoy life dont sweat the small stuff.

Just say, I gave you the summons, and the judge said 2 weeks, Call the courthouse and ask for Judge ______ whatever, maybe his name is Judge Roy Bean, and the judge will verify it.

or just say, I can't get you any thing else, if there is a problem, then I'll just quit and you can find someone else.

Wow... come clean with your employer about ditching work and hope they'll write you an excuse note.

You need them to write something saying you won't be paid for missing more days.

Just go to your employer and tell them you have jury duty as they have to let you go.
