I've been to Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Morocco.......women seemed more content with their lives and had a higher degree of respect for themselves.

Because our hero, our confidant, our knight in shining armor, our protector, our MAN, our American Man has lost all sense of self worth, he has degraded us, neglected us, and abused us. He has weakened our minds and hardened our hearts. He has lost his way and has become a pathetic, cheating, lying, scum bag.

I think it has a great deal to do with our media and the expectations our culture and society has for us.

How can we ever be good enough? It used to be simple - be a good mom, wife, and keep the house clean. Now, many will look down if youre not doing all of this AND having a career.

In addition, you must look beautiful and have ideal proportions - for some of us, this is a matter of luck; we can't be perfect, but it's as if we're expected to.

Women in the media feel the same way, and because theyre in such a spotlight, its magnified. Their fans see their ways of dealing with things, and follow their lead.

It's really sad.Another contributer is the fact that a lot of men realize women have these insecurities, and choose to take advantage of them. That only adds to the problem.

We need to take better care of our daughters, and realize that this life is only material. All that matters is who you are in Gods eyes.

I think in America, there's much more pressure on women to be perfect. They must have perfect teeth, skin, hair, a good job yet still find time to clean, be the perfect mother and wife and a good friend. In the UK, it's much more relaxed, we embrace eccentricity and love a good ole knees up. It's not so commercial here but that's starting to change I think. In 10 years time maybe the whole world will be reading self help books and saving for that essential nose job!

Wow! large question. between the terrific i've got ever considered in GS or GWS. i'm afraid i will't answer it in any way that it will do it justice, yet you have a large argument. Spirituality ordinarily went to hell in the U. S.. One project with feminism is that multiple females equate it with chauvinist (male) habit - aggressive, conceited etc. there's a e book i've got not study yet that dealt with this concern on some point - "female Chauvinist Pigs." i'm no longer even attempting to be politically maximum suitable here. i'm questioning of yin (masculine) and yang (female) features. I understand the e book would not precisely handle the question of spirituality, even nonetheless it factors out what number feminists all started emulating the very habit they initially hated in chauvinist men. Now so a strategies as spirituality is going, this has to do with the way we build ourselves backwards, from the outdoors in. In different words, we do no longer particularly understand who we are or what we want. We in simple terms enable our visual attraction - be it our clothing, automobile, new boob activity, coaching, profession etc. - tutor the international (and ourselves) who we supposedly are. that may not in simple terms a woman project; it relatively is an all of us project. i admire Kundalini - the Yoga I do. in the 1st weeks of sophistication our instructor became very sparkling that we would desire to maintain our eyes closed in the process the gadgets as we at the instant are not in opposition with the others, yet in simple terms with ourselves. I now it sounds ordinary, yet, it differences the form you verify out issues. you're conscious of your ego and pointers on a thank you to calm it down whilst it rears its grotesque little head.

It all has to do with society and how Society portrays women. Men degrade us and make us fell less worthy than they are . Mean while most of us women have a better education and better paying job than most of the men that put us down.

That's a massive generalization. For every woman with absolutely no self-worth, there's another with great confidence. It depends on their personality and experiences, not just their gender.

Because of other women, we judge each other, sometimes really harshly. Every time I go somewhere or do something I donut worry about what men will think of me, its what other women will think.
