I wondered if this good girl friend liked me by her actions, so I asked her if she was flirting with me. She said no, and we discussed being more than friends. She brought it up several times, and eventually I told her I want to be friends, but I could see myself with a girl like you. She laughed it off then and changed subjects. Anyway, since then, we have become closer and closer, and now she jokes and touches me like I am her boyfriend. We are still friends, but it seems as if we are now close friends. Is our friendship growing, or is it something more that is growing?

lots of people say one thing and do another if this bothers you talk to her again if you are enjoying it then chill and see where it goes don't screw up a good friendship by thinking something is going on that isn't or by misreading what you think are signs of something that is not there if she digs you beyond just friends sooner or later she will get to the point of showing it.

I do think that your relationship is growing but I think you should tell her how you only want to be friend with her more seriously before she thinks that you're more than friends. Set her Straight, but don't break her heart
Good luck

It's just a mutual thing. If you let her 'touch you' in a way that she's your boyfriend, then you're accepting the fact that you are, indeed, her boyfriend. If you don't want to be (you're already commited, etc.) then tell her politely.
