From a canadian perspective, I think America has more problem with their image around the world then with values inside it's border.
I believe the American society is an example of freedom and that respect is a concept each person is free to define. The pursuit of greed in the United States is perhaps the worst loss of integrity but the USA still remains a beautiful free country compared to many around the world.
My answer is no and I think your society is going to live better days soon.

I don't think this loss of integrity has anything to do with nationality. It's a human trait, not a racial or cultural one. With that said, I think that people have always been at a loss for integrity. It's the form that that loss takes which changes. In many ways however, I think that people are developing more integrity than they used to.

i like maximum of what you have mentioned yet you're accountable for some misconceptions of human beings. no longer all American businesspeople greater healthful the stereotype of "the american megalomaniacal businessman" who would not care whom he destroys. some do. maximum businesspeople, like myself, view employer as a inventive technique. Capitalism brings a "inventive destruction" in that its suggestions wreck the old techniques of doing issues. it particularly is an unsettling yet mandatory technique. that's the cost to be paid for substitute. American way of existence is orientated in direction of the destiny, no longer the previous. we've distinctive values. As for the "conceited sexual photographs," we come across the Arab international prudish. by using "conceited," do you mean no longer lined from head to toe in black cloth? Why is it that the very religious are so preoccupied with repressing intercourse -- something which ought to be celebrated? And it is not purely Muslims who're accountable for this. Fundamentalist Christians and Orthodox Jews do the comparable subject.

By all means! Things have going downhill since the 60;s when people declared 'God is dead' and when the 'politically correct' misconstrued the separation of church and state.
The great majority of people in this Country believe in God but live as if they were their own god and it's all about me, me, me.
Integrity and loyalty are becoming extinct and anything goes has become the norm.

Perhaps, but if they are it is because in our entire history we have never been lied to as much nor as severely as now and because for too long we have put our desire for profit above our values. But heres the thing, I still beleive that its reversible.

Seriously: you might be right, but some of us that care about these things still exist. Honor and class never really goes out of style.
