I dress like a tom boy but my mom says i gotto be just a little more girly. Just because i dress this way don't mean ima be a guy. AM I RIGHT???

I guess you could call me a tom girl. Just dress the way you feel, but I really like girly girls.

You are right. But most guys don't want a "guy" as a girlfriend. You need to have a femine look, you don't want to look like a boy and people thik you're one. You can still act tom-boyish and wear cute GIRL clothing and act a a little more girly. I am like that. I dress super girly and love it, but a home I wear Sofies and a t-shirt and play basketball all day. You can be femine and a tom-boy at the same time.

It is up to you how you want to dress. I'm 70/30 when it comes to how I dress. I have to dress girly for work but when I'm off I sometimes dress tom boyish. It doesn't mean that I'm a guy or anything like that, it just means that I am comfortable. I think there are certain instances where you need to dress up, but if you're just hanging around why bother.

Be yourself. Choose clothes that make you the most happy and the most comfortable, I can only assume your mother has bought you the clothes you have now. Which probably means the next things she will buy you will be "hello kitty", If I were you, I would tell her, not to waste her money because, you have a different style. Say it respectful, she is your mom.
You could ask her to not wear "mom jeans", you can no more turn her into a TV mom, than she can turn you into someone your obviously not.

Yeah i guess there is no problem with wanting to dress covered up and more comfortable. but some tom boys tend to dress to much like boys. i think girls should wear girl clothes but i dont see nothing wrong if u wanted to be sporty. well i am a girld girl and can't stand when i see i girl dressed like a boy. i believe that girls can look and be sexy wearing girl clothes. but, u dont have to wear a dress. u could wear a long skirt, or at leat something that is pretty. u should be proud to be a girl

It's fine that your a tomboy. I had lots of friends that were but eventually they grew out of it. Especially after they saw that guys are attracted to feminine girls. At least any normal guy is! LOL
P.S. I am not saying all guys like the totally girly girls. Just a girl that dresses and acts like one.

I was a tomboy until I was about 18 yrs old and I'm fine. You should be the way you are, anyway you are comfortable. Explain to her that you just feel comfortable the way you are. I think you will be fine.

its your choice how you dress, your mums just going through a worrying stage thinking that your dressing more 'boyish' to cover up things, but dress how you like and never be ashamed or change for some one
