Above the line producers or executive producers, or suits as they call them, get together the funding through various resources for the film. He or she also gets together the talent, such as actors, directors, and below the line production companies.
Below the line producers are hired, and they gather together the crew both local and international if needed, and they also sometimes scout locations.
