My science fair is at the end of January and I'm doing my project question is : "does a bean plant grow best in incandesant light or natural sunlight" But I'm going away on my Christmas holiday for two weeks and I can't start my expirement untill I come back. So my question is how long would it take for a bean plant to grow.?

Depends on it's maturity. Initially it might be spending more time develooping a root system with little growth on the top. Once it has a larger root system the growth rate increases dramatically. Seedling? Couple of inches once it has it's true leaves, not those initial seed leaves.
