How can I achieve the "rocker" look?

i love the style of "rockers"...and i kinda want to go with that look...the look I'm going for is like rocker/goth-emo-ish...but mostly rocker...if you have any idea what I'm talking about...when people see me, I want their first impression to be like, "she plays guitar", or like "she listens to rock music"...etc...so, how can I give myself the "rocker" look? what kind of clothes/accessories should I wear? how should i have my hair (my hair is about the same style of my icon)?

While I doubt you should go with the so called rocker style if effectively you don't play guitar or are not into rock music here's some pointer.

A classic is The Ramones t-shirt, this way you won't look too soft for real punk-rockers and even the emo crowd will like it. Still, you can never go wrong with any rock band shirt : Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath...

Leather braceletes are good on both wrists and you could also add some cool guitar pick earrings.

Any jeans will do, but ripped pale levis's will get you good attention and respect from the rockers who wear skin-tight jeans.

For the shoes I recommend black Adidas Superstar or a sweet pair of Converse. Keep'em black if you're going for the tough rock look or go with fancy colors if you want to make the emos cry.

I wouls advice that you don't change your drastically ( PLEASE dont dye them black) and just wear them loose very casually.

Sorry if this is long :/ Things You'll Need: mousse hair spray blow dryer comb your hands 1. To begin, your hair needs to be freshly washed and most importantly, WET. Start by combing your hair straight. 2. Next, deposit a golf ball sized amount of mousse into one hand. Rub your hands together to make sure both hands have about the same amount of product on them. Now, doing first one side of your hair and then the other, scrunch your hair with your mousse-covered hands. Do this until there are no more white streaks from the mousse visible. 3. Now it's time for the blow dryer. Using a medium heat setting, dry your hair while scrunching it at the same time. This tends to work best if you flip your head to one side or completely upside down. It doesn't really matter if you scrunch from the roots down or just randomly scrunch. 4. When your hair is completely dry, flip your head right side up and part your hair where you normally would. Now is where the hair spray comes into play. Lifting your hair, first on one side and then the other, spray it with hair spray as the layers fall. This will give your hair the added volume. Do the same thing to the back. Ta-da! You're done! Good luck! This is what I do to my hair!

I play guitar and go for the rocker look once in a while. All I can say is try T-shirts with skulls, old-looking scarfs, black zip-up hoodies (realize that black and red are usually good, but it doesn't have to these two all the time). The best part is gloves with the finger tips cut off! As for hair, try not to comb it but leave it natural with bit of a wave to it and put it up in a pony tail. I hope this helps some what.

Rocker/goth-emo-ish? That's a lot. Give this a shot: Dye your hair black. Dark blue high-lights for drama. Long sleeve (either color or stripped) shirt under a black or dark purple t-shirt. Pants should not be extra long nor baggy. Black or really faded blue works great. Oh sure, black leather looks cool, yet is a pain in the butt to care for(plus you sweat massively in them!!). Carry or even wear a guitar pick holder on your belt(BIG Gothic buckle slightly required< try Spencer's at the mall). Finally, no really girly-girl earrings. Hoops or studs or even skulls are acceptable.

You can wear vintage tees, frayed-ripped jeans, converses.
For accessories you could wear a black choker necklace, earrings (with the style you're going for they'll be easy to find anywhere), I've noticed a lot of rocker people wearing tons of bracelets. Umm...that's all I can think of. I don't know if that's a real "rocker" look since I'm not one myself, but I hope I helped.

Comfortable jeans or pants. Black shirt. Studded belt. A simple necklace. Your hair can be anything. Just wear eyeliner. Buy convers sneakers. Paint your nails clear.

Don't dye your hair black. It looks bad on people w/o naturally black hair. Don't self-mutilate. It looks bad on every one. Don't do drugs. These won't make you "rocker", they'll just make you messed up and you won't be able to assimilate back into society when your done.

get side bangs that cover your eyes. do a little bit darker makeup than usual. dark colors and shades are what most rockers wear.(except for some neon colors like hot pink) t-shirts that have gothic looking symbols and band names on them are what youre looking for. pants, just jeans.shoes usually a skater shoe like etnies or something. good luck!

but just dress your own style
wear whats comfortable
and wear shirts with you favorite bands on it
thats kinda rocker I guess
and its not acting to poser-ish

It's' hard to do the look, and it looks really phony if you try too hard. Long straight hair, lots of silver accessories. Look at some pictures of rockers you like, and emulate them.

oh gosh... you should just be yourself. everyone in this world attempts to be someone they just aren't.... sorry if i sound really rude but i know ALOT of people that are trying to be something they aren't and it really upsets me but whatever lol. if you really want to achieve this "look" i reccomend hot topic... yellow rat bastard... etc
