Do you want a personal gift or a not so personal gift? If it's a personal gift and I imagine this is a man that already has alot you could get him a nice sweater, that if he wears them and some cologne. You can find real nice sweaters under 20 at Coles Department store or sometimes at Sears or even JC Penny's. men like their cologne and after shave sets you could purchase a gift set for under 30. If you want a non personal gift i would suggest a gift card at his favorite restaurant or again department store or even a music store. If he is into music get him a CD of his favorite group or instrumental.Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Men are always happy with food. How about a gift set of coffees or hot sauce. If he is visiting from else where in the country you can get something your area is known for. Gift certificates work well when you don't know much about someone. A plant is another option. Good luck

My husband is a thirty year old video game/horror movie fanatic. I got him a gift certificate for the local electronics store, so he can decide if he'd rather have the box set of Child's play or Metal Gear Solid 3.

If you could go as high as $35.00, Paste Magazine is nice. He can keep up with new music and there is a free cd in every issue. Or you could get him a subscription to Netflix.

there is this site that has lists of places that will pay you to take surveys and other easy things on your computer. the cost to the members only section is $24.95. The 30 year old man would love acess to the members only section and it would help him make some extra money.

a gift certificate to home depot, lowes, cabellas, gander mountain. most guys i know love things like hunting and tools so this would be perfect for them.
