I hate philosophy so much that I am answering stupid questions on this site in order to avoid studying for a final I am taking tomorrow that involves huge amounts of just war theory philosophy.

I hate philosophy as in other thinkers' philosophy very much. It very nearly drove me insane a couple of years ago when I had to study it for exams. However, I love creating my own philosophy and boring my friends with it. I guess it's Stockholm syndrome or something. :)

philosophy is simply thinking any talking with others about it. you are in fact saying "i hate thinking" if you simply say philosophy meaning all its forms.
such thinking has stopped stupid acts like mending a cut finger by removing the hand. this would of course stop the finger bleeding but would leave a gaping wound at the end of the arm... also such thinking would then lead to the arm being removed in the same manner.

Do you mean, "How much do I hate the study of Philosophy"?
Your question, taken literally, asks how much I hate THINKING. You know, words really do have precise meaning sometimes, which is why you probably struggle in that study.

I hate philosophy only because they need to change the name of the whole field of study to "Bullshilosophy" so people could better understand what it is really about.

take a look into eastern philosophy/religion/mythology/psychology. it has a lot less to do with ego and the left brain than its western (distant) "cousin", and, thus, many find it more appealing in many ways ;-)

I don't hate philosophy. I HATE MY PHILOSOPHY TEACHER. I swear, he is the most DRY, BORING, AND DROLL person on the PLANET!! He totally ruined Kierkegaard for me! AHHH! MR. FEARSON, I TOTALLY HATE YOU!!!!
