I'm a female and thinking about marriage. I'd like to know, from a mans perspective, what they think is most important in a stay at home mom/wife and why. Examples...cooking, taking good care of the kids, great in the bedroom. I know this is a broad topic so please just select a few qualities that you want your wife to/does excel at.

The best qualities in a wife, is to be being caring, sharing, understanding, loving, trusting, loyal, respectful, and to be your husbands best friend (& Visa Versa). Do what you can at home, in bed, taking care of children, but be realistic. You can't do everything! Talking with your husband and discussing and setting your goals together, while respecting each others differences is one way to make your marriage work.

great sex is always good, otherwise the relationship gets stale, a bit of a exibitionist,, friend lover companion,
cooking, household budget person, there are alot, but best thing I can think of is a great companion, which would include everything,
biggest draw back of marriage is listening to someone tell about their boring day at work, might as well have a sharp stick in the eye,
I always loved the fact with my two wives ( two marriages, not one of the weirdo mormons, ),, was they looked great dressed up for a night on the town, but also,, loved camping and fishing and cleaning up at night with a baby wipe cuz there aint any showers in the woods,

Obviously all the qualities you listed are good. Keep a clean house. Show alot of affection. Don't expect him to get up and go shopping right when he gets home from work. Keep interested in what he does at work. Just be the woman he fell in love with in the first place.

My wife decided to stay at home about 11 years ago. We view it as a partnership, because it frees me up to do what I need to do at work to be succesful for both of us. What I truly appreciate is:
1) organization- I don't expect an immaculate house, but having it generally organized works.
2) understanding about the demands of my job
3) feeling desired sexually is definatley a motivator
4) feeling appreciated for what I do
Of course the opposite is true and I need to do the same things for her!!!

First and foremost: Do not attempt to change your husband. Accept him for who he is or don't marry him. You will not love him enough to save him from himself. He probably doesn't need saving.
Good sex is also very important and being faithful is absolutely critical. Be enthusiastic about the sex life.
I'd say the next most important thing is respect. Have his back. At all times. Believe in him, and make sure he knows it.

Seems that this is the first thing that
many wives forget, and to their surprise,
hubby often goes elsewhere for it...
The bedroom is really important..
As well as continuing to dress nice & sexy...
