I'm looking for something that is fun and offers many hours of gameplay. Any Suggestions?
I'm leaning towards an rpg, but I am open to anything.
Also, I'm only looking for games that I can still buy in stores I need it tomorrow and I do not want to pay 30 dollars for next day shipping.

Not a big fan of FPS. I like counter strike but single player FPS games just don't agree with me.
I played Diablo 2 for at least a year, and got bored with it. For me D2 was fun at first but then it was just too repetative.
Used to play wow as well, but got bored with that. Plus I would need the internet.
Let me elaborate a little, the reason I am asking this is because I have several long car rides in my near future, so I need something to keep me entertained.

I would suggest Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is a huge, single player RPG that caters to alot of different syles of play (hack-and-slash, exploration...) It is readily available at most game stores. Walmart, Kmart, etc.
Also, because of the free mods available online it has tons of replay value.
Here is a link to check it out.

I'm a big fan of FPS (First Person Shooters), and I can heartily recommend either Half Life 2 or Quake 4...
Both have huge single player campaigns, and better yet, as they are still fairly recent they should still be in stores. I think they may have gone down in price recently too...

Morrowind or Oblivion are good at this, although there are no giant dragons. You can choose between 1st person and 3rd person views, there are a lot of different creatures to meet and kill, also you can download mods for it to enhance your experience. These can add new quests, buildings, creatures.. even new armour and weapons, along with a lot more. If this isn't for you, then you could try out Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. They are set in post-apocalyptic America, have fairly good storylines and weapons, and they have a large variety of enemies.

totally agree with brandon m. Stick to the classics. Diablo II is probably one of the best PC games around, both single player and multiplayer in battlenet . Your choice. The graphics are not excelenet, but come on ,it was like 6 or 7 years ago. But it has a intresting plot, a lot of missions (that most modern mmorpgs have seen to lost) and dunno, it has everything really. Great game. You should try it.

World of Warcraft is very good if you have a high speed Internet connection. It requires a monthly subscription, but I should warn you that it is addictive.
You can purchase the game from http://www.direct2drive.com.
Check PC Gamer's list of game reviews. You might find a recommendation there: http://www.pcgamer.com/reviews/reviewsindex.html
