It has more ink in it, and of course, it costs more.

A high yield cartridge typically means you get more pages out of it. The selling price is higher of course, but not proportionally more so. The idea is that when you calculate the cost of page of printout, its more economical that way. Kinda like bulk or family pack in supermarkets.

Yield generally means quantity.
And when phrases like that are in sales and marketing you should not necessarily believe it.
