Make him a homemade card, give him a picture of you and him together, and bake him his favorite kind of cookies.

Think about what he's into, but everybody this year is saying give quality over quantity and experience rather than object. Take him to a movie or a sports game or something. Or if you want to buy something get him tickets so maybe he and his friends can go if you'd rather not.

If you can burn a CD of songs at your home maybe you can burn a cd of songs that he would like----maybe personalize some ---a song that makes you think of him------your favorite song-----etc
Look into poetry books and find a great poem that may reflect something about the two of you or him or-------if you can write a poem----that would be neat------then print it out really nicely from a computer and get a special frame---
what about his favorite desert----- could you bake cookies and combine them with candies of sorts-------
Or a movie night snacks---- basket of his favorite snack foods?
microwave popcorn and a blockbuster movie rental gift card that you two can share together one night?
a photo of the two of you in a nice frame---

Well, my personal opinion is that your too young for boys but If you want to spend money on this kid, then you should just buy him a CD of a band you know he likes.

How about making him a CD of his favourite songs? That's thoughtful and won't cost much.
Otherwise...depends what he likes, really. A book...DVD...something related to his favourite football/basketball/whatever team (eg scarf, hat, shirt)...a calendar of his favourite group or film star...

until you are old enough to have a job, you shouldn't even think about having a boyfriend. Focus more on school, family, friends, and sports.
