Ok i work in a take away and have done for 2 years. The place is really busy and 80% of the time the call goes like this " Hi ******** how can i help you?" Then they turn round to who ever is there and THEN ask them what it is that they are wanting!! Then i have to wait while this customer is talking to other people on the other end of the phone for there order. Any feed back would be great as it actually very badly bugs me.

Been there! I have found that if they are indecisive just ask them to please hold. If you have other calls take them. The indecisive person takes up critical time. It puts unfair strain on you & your coworkers. All the other customers waiting on other lines get angry, or worse - they hang up & you lose business. Taking the next caller then going back to them is fair for everyone. Usually they figure out if they don't want to go on hold - be ready!

The first McDonald's had a cure for that. They didn't have anything but a burger fries and a coke.

Choices are good for the consumer, but they are bad for the workers.
When you have 25 different "Combos" and 73 different "al-la-cart" items, with half a dozen deserts with different toppings, And always you have Choices in drinks.
Oh yeah, the place may have a Special. Specials are something that take your mind off the track quickly.
There are many things in the world to remember, your food list is not in the top 500. If their are more than two people in the car, get ready for a longer wait.
Fast Food will never be "Fast Ordering". It shouldn't be.
Just get used to it. You can't change human nature.

I'm the WORST for that!! I can NEVER decide on what I want to eat. I ask my friend to order first or ask them what they want because it give me an extra few second to make a decision.
It bugs me too >0(

Well, maybe the person taking the order can suggest something expensive.
