Where can I sell my jewelry in Oklahoma City? I would prefer not using ebay or any online website. However no jewelry store I have found yet will buy my jewelry. I can't take it to a pawn shop because they only give me 10% of its value and that is not enough. Has anyone used ebay for jewelry? Did you get what you were asking for?

Try a vintage jewelry store - they may be willing to purchase your jewelry. Understand, though that you will get less than wholesale value on your jewelry when you re-sell it - because the original mark-up is so high on it. Expect to get 30% of your purchase price back.

People are always looking for nice used jewelry. You might want to try putting a picture of it in the paper or on-line newspaper. Unless you have a high weight on your jewelry or a heavy gold you really aren't going to get much out of a jewelry store. You have to realize that they get things half price brand new, they don't want to pay you for something used when they can't sell it. My fiance' has done business on EBay and not had any problems so far. I would look into it. And I agree I sold my jewelry to a pawn shop and I hated myself for it.

If you are not in a hurry to sell it. I would ask some "private" jewelry stores if they do consignment. Some stores do and take around 25-30%. It can get your more than a pawn shop. The reason I say Private is because chain stores do not do this. Hope this helps...

You can set the price you are willing to sell it for on ebay. Use the buy it now option and set up your own online store. It is a great way to do it. And once you navigate it all, super easy!

Make sure you have good photos and set a reserve price based on appraisal. Good luck.
