buy him the newest MP3 player called zune , he will definitely like it. search for it at amazon : http://astore.amazon.com/electron-20 , a gift certificate would be nice too , http://goodmanzone.tripod.com has many of them and other cool gift ideas.

Depends on how much you are willing / able to spend. Something for his car? A new video game (if he is into that?), a gift certificate to a restaurant, or store, something related to his favorite sports team (hat, jacket, Etc.) Tickets to a sporting event or concert in the area?

I would get him a shirt or hat of his favorite sports team. If he is in college get him a gift card to a retsuarant or fast food to have lunch or dinner on you.
